This year we will be looking at what it means to look out for someone else's interests before our own in our various roles as mothers, daughters, sisters, girlfriends, wives, teachers, etc.

Our verse is Phil. 2:4 "Do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others."  God's plan is for us to reach out to others, to Him, our husbands, our children, our friends, our community, etc, and look out for our own personal interests.  Though He does not give equal importance to both, for in the verse prior, Paul writes, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves".  He wants us to have a mind set on loving those around us, though this isn't always easy, especially when we have dirty diapers to change, crying babies to comfort, homes to keep, husbands to help, etc.

The good news is - we are in this together! And, The Mom Connection can help be the support and sounding board you need.  We will talk about how important it is to have supportive and positive relationships in our lives, to have healthy mindsets, and where we can go and what we can do to fill our mental, spiritual, and physical "gas tanks".

Free childcare is provided at all of our meetings.  Our KidConnection childcare providers are CORI-checked and trained in child safety and development.  We provide care for all ages, and a supervised study hall for home-schoolers.

All moms are encouraged to visit for the first month.  If you decide to stay the suggested registration fee for the year is $15 with a donation of $3/month towards activities.
